Our hotel takes pride in its cuisine, which generously uses freshwater fish raised in local clear streams, Shinshu beef, wild boar meat, locally grown vegetables and mushrooms.
Popular dishes include robatayaki and seiro-mushi, served over the hearth. By grilling the ingredients over the charcoal of the hearth, the far-infrared effect keeps the flavors from escaping, resulting in fluffy, delicious food.
In addition, the steaming process concentrates the original flavor of the ingredients and preserves their nutrients. Please enjoy our carefully selected Shinshu ingredients cooked around the hearth.
In addition, we will be offering seasonal kaiseki meals featuring all-matsutake mushrooms and crab shabu-shabu.

In the open-air bath set in the spacious garden, you can enjoy a close-up view of the seasonal scenery: the lush greenery of early summer, the vibrant autumn leaves in autumn, and the white snow covering the ground in winter.
At night, you will be surrounded by stars that fill the pitch black sky, providing an extremely relaxing experience that will soothe both your mind and body.
The spring quality is simple hot spring water, which is gentle on the body and has little irritation, so everyone from children to the elderly can bathe safely.
This hot spring is also suitable for people who don't like the unique smell of hot springs or who have sensitive skin.

Steamer hearth course
Enjoy steamed dishes and robatayaki at the hearth. The steamed dishes are presented with a lively arrangement of Shinshu beef and seasonal vegetables. Shinshu specialties such as amago trout, a river fish, and gohei mochi are grilled over charcoal. Other dishes include a hot pot filled with wild boar meat, vegetables, and mushrooms, and Shinshu salmon sashimi.
Seafood Hearth Course
This course includes a generous amount of seafood and a full robatayaki menu. Fresh seafood such as scallops, sweet shrimp, and squid are served along with thickly sliced beef and pork, river fish such as amago trout, gohei mochi rice cakes, and locally grown vegetables.
Matsutake Kaiseki Course (seasonal only)
Only available in the autumn when matsutake mushrooms are harvested, we have prepared a course that allows you to fully enjoy matsutake mushrooms. You can enjoy a variety of matsutake dishes, including charcoal grilled matsutake, which allows you to enjoy the best aroma, sukiyaki with plenty of Shinshu beef, steamed matsutake, tempura, and earthenware pot steamed matsutake.

Ground golf is a sport that can be enjoyed by the whole family, regardless of age or gender. There is a golf course just a 6-minute walk from the hotel. You can enjoy an exhilarating game of golf while taking in the views of the Shinshu mountains.
Stargazing and astronomy
Since there are no buildings around, no light can reach the night sky, allowing you to see a glittering celestial show that you can't see in the city.
Picking wild plants
You can pick wild plants such as bracken, taros, butterbur buds, and kogomi in the woods around the inn. These delicious Shinshu delicacies herald the arrival of spring.
Amago mountain stream fishing
On the last Sunday of May, a large number of amago trout are released into the Uruki River and a mountain stream fishing festival is held. Children can also try catching rainbow trout. Many mountain stream fish live in the rivers of Uruki Village.
Firefly Tour
The best time to see fireflies is from late June to early July. On days with good weather, we will provide a free shuttle service to a recommended viewing spot, located about 6 minutes by car from our hotel.
Blueberry hunting
In the summer, Urugi Village opens a blueberry farm, a popular spot where you can pick your own blueberries from different types of trees and compare the taste of each one.
Autumn leaves hunting
From the surrounding forests to the distant mountains, you can enjoy the red and yellow autumn leaves. We will show you the best spots to see the autumn leaves near our hotel, so please feel free to ask us.

Chausuyama Plateau
At Chausuyama, 1,415 meters above sea level, 40 moss phlox plants bloom in full glory around May. The pink carpet that covers the entire mountainside is a stunning sight. You can also view it from the air by riding the lift.
Tenryu Gorge
The Tenryu River is famous for its Tenryu Line Boat Trip. From a small boat that weaves its way through oddly shaped rocks and cliffs, you can get a close-up look at the beauty of the valley and enjoy the seasonal scenery, including mountain cherry blossoms and autumn leaves.
"Urugi Onsenkyo Yumoto Mori no Yado Yuseikan" is a Japanese-style inn in the tranquil village of Uruki, located on the border between Nagano and Aichi prefectures.
You can enjoy nature in every season: peach blossoms and cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery and fireflies in summer, matsutake mushrooms and autumn leaves in autumn, and snow in winter. At night, countless stars twinkle across the sky. There are no buildings nearby, so the darkness is deep, making the light of the stars even brighter, creating an impressive night sky.
