Oita Prefecture/Hita Amagase Onsen

Three guest rooms with natural hot springs were completed in April 2024. If you feel like a bath during your stay, simply return to your room and enjoy a soak. With the sounds of the river as background music, you can enjoy your soak at a comfortable pace without being rushed by anyone. You can take the afterglow of your bath back to your room, and there's no need to rush to catch a cold. Drop in between reading or a nap, take a deep breath by the window, and then return to the bath—this is truly the luxury of relaxing at your own pace. Whether you want to hide from the public or spend a quiet evening, your private bath will gently embrace you. There's also the bliss of going straight to bed after your bath. Wake up in the morning with a soak, or unwind with a soak late at night. Reset your mind and body at your own pace, enjoying a highly flexible stay.

Soaking in the hot water while feeling the sound of the river outside the window relaxes your breathing, and you find yourself spending more time in it. Soaking in the water with the sound of the stream in your ears relaxes your skin, and the tension of your trip melts away. The hotel has two private baths, and the moment you close the door, it's all yours. The appeal is that you can enjoy the hot spring without worrying about others, and you can talk or be silent as you like. The same bath looks different when you soak at different times - once before getting ready in the morning, and again after dinner. It's a great option for days when you want to hide from the public or when you want to relax with your family. Just having a private bath during your stay will suddenly make your trip more meaningful, and the contours of your memories will become a little clearer.

A mealtime that gently seeps into your body after a bath. Ryokan Tenryu offers a dining style that carefully layers the bounty of the land, centered around "homemade hand-made soba noodles" and "seasonal kaiseki." Dinner is a Bungo kaiseki meal that begins with an appetizer and progresses with sashimi, tempura, river fish, beef steak, and more. The seasonal aromas rise from each dish, gently complementing the senses relaxed in the hot spring. Finish with hand-made soba noodles, a delicious finale with a smooth aftertaste. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the dining area. Rather than being flashy, the nutritious flavors will help regulate your body's rhythm, quietly launching you into a day of travel.
