At Suzunami, the young female owner uses an abundance of seasonal seafood carefully selected by herself, and values the freshness and flavor that can only be found on the island. For example, Ise-Shima's specialty spiny lobster and abalone are served according to the season, allowing you to fully enjoy the bounty of the sea that you can't find anywhere else.
As you enjoy your meal while gazing at the magnificent view of Toba Bay beyond the window, you will feel "island time" with all five senses, not just the taste. Fresh seafood procured every morning is enhanced with delicate seasonings that highlight the chef's skill, and is perfectly matched with local vegetables and seasonal mountain produce.

Toshijima, the largest outlying island in Toba City, is a popular tourist destination with a strong history and natural environment. Popular experiences include walking tours of historical sites related to Kuki Yoshitaka, the lord of Toba Castle who lost his life in the Battle of Sekigahara, and drying wakame seaweed at the fishing port, which allows visitors to experience island life.
Ecotours are also popular, including strolls through quaint backstreets, experiences in traditional female divers' huts, and natural aquariums on uninhabited islands. Wagu Port
Wagu Fishing Port, located in the center of Shima Town and facing the open ocean, is one of the largest in Mie Prefecture.
Seafood is caught by gillnets, diver fishing, pole and line fishing, etc., so it is characterized by a large number of high-quality fish such as spiny lobster, abalone, bonito, squid, yellowtail, sea bream, and sea bream.
In spring, the ban on ama fishing is lifted, followed by bonito fishing called Kenken, which reaches its peak in early summer.
Wagu Sunshine Beach
There is also a pool for small children, so this beach is popular with families.
This beach is also characterised by good water quality and tan sand.
Otoshi Shirahama Beach
This beach has crystal clear water and a beautiful natural landscape surrounded by the sea and mountains. It has an atmosphere of a private beach.
