2,370m above sea level, natural hot spring above the clouds

It is a hot spring above the clouds at an altitude of 2,370 meters. Raicho Onsen is a cloudy hot spring that flows directly from the source. I want to enjoy the hot springs in Murodo! Recommended for those who say so!
As the name suggests, the observation bathroom on the second floor has a great view! You can see a panoramic view of Mt. Dainichi and Jigokudani. You can even watch the sunset from here at dusk!
The hot spring ingredients are simple acid springs, which are effective against skin diseases and neuralgia, and can heal the fatigue of mountain climbing and trekking.

You may even be greeted by grouse!

The panoramic view from the hot spring inn, located at an altitude of 2,370 meters, will make you feel as if you are above the clouds and will free your mind. As the name ``Raichoso'' suggests, there is a high chance of encountering grouse around the inn, especially from spring to early summer. Grouse are a natural monument, and witnessing their precious existence is a special experience. Enjoy a luxurious time surrounded by the beauty of nature while soaking in the clear highland air and hot springs.

A fireplace space where mountain lovers, adventure lovers, and travel lovers can gather

This inn is a special place where mountain lovers, adventure seekers, and travel enthusiasts gather. The fireplace space is a great place to relax and socialize with other guests. You may even meet new friends while sharing warm conversations and memories in front of the fireplace flames.
The heating is done using the natural heat of Jigokudani. Jigokudani is known as a hot spring area, and by making effective use of its natural heat, it provides a comfortable accommodation environment. This eco-friendly system shows an attitude towards the environment and coexistence with nature.

Points to note

There may be snowstorms from April to early May and from late October onwards. The journey from Murodo to Raichoso is not recommended for those without sufficient winter mountain equipment and knowledge of winter mountains. When the weather worsens, the mountain suddenly takes on a winter appearance. Lack of equipment and knowledge under such conditions greatly increases the risk of getting lost in a whiteout, hypothermia, and frostbite. please note.
