Bessho Onsen is Shinshu's oldest hot spring resort, with a history stretching back over 1400 years. The spring quality is slightly alkaline (pH 8-9), gentle on the skin, and safe for babies to use.
In particular, the spectacular view from the observation bath on the 7th floor will open your mind and soothe your daily fatigue. The public bath is located on the top floor, and you can enjoy a panoramic view of the mountains and Shiodadaira during the day, and the twinkling starry sky and night view at night.
After taking a bath, there is a drink corner on the 7th floor where you can enjoy mineral water and various teas to rejuvenate yourself. Please come and have a relaxing time.

Discerning dishes prepared by our head chef using carefully selected ingredients from Shinshu.

We value the philosophy of local production for local consumption, and are proud of the carefully selected dishes prepared with ingredients from Shinshu by our head chef. The head chef himself carefully selects locally sourced ingredients, including fresh and juicy highland vegetables, mushrooms and wild vegetables grown in the mountains of Shinshu, Shinshu salmon, and Shinshu wagyu beef.
We make each dish with care, ensuring that hot items are served hot and cold items are served cold. Please enjoy our carefully selected kaiseki cuisine while feeling the seasonal changes.
In addition, for guests staying multiple nights, we offer a different menu every day, so you can enjoy it without getting bored.
