"Miraculous hot spring" that springs forth naturally
While most hot springs in Beppu are weakly acidic, the water at Toyozanso is a rare alkaline sulfur spring with a pH of over 9.
We offer the luxury of natural, "artesian" springs, which flow directly from the source without the use of pumps, which are said to make up less than 5% of the country.
As you immerse yourself in the bath, the smooth water gently envelops your skin, and the sulfurous scent relaxes your body and mind.
It is truly a "gift from nature" that has the power to both condition the skin and warm the body to the core. Please come and experience this rare hot spring, even in Beppu.

Original hot spring cuisine that showcases the techniques of Gion
Toyoyamaso welcomes a chef from a Michelin-starred restaurant in Gion as an advisor, and together with chefs who have honed their skills at famous Japanese restaurants, we offer exclusive "hot spring creative cuisine."
The menu is not only delicious, but also focuses on balancing beauty and health, with dishes that are beautiful to look at and make your body happy when you eat them.
We use seasonal ingredients from the local Oita prefecture and gently cook them over steam from the hot spring to bring out the natural flavor of the ingredients to the fullest.
Each dish is healthy and can be enjoyed with all five senses.
Enjoy a special hot spring inn feast to soothe your travel fatigue.

The true joy of hot springs: the deliciousness of steamed "hell" hot springs
You can experience Beppu's specialty "Hell Steaming" for free at Toyoyamaso.
By steaming the ingredients in high-temperature hot spring steam, the flavor and nutrients are concentrated in a shorter time than boiling. What's more, no oil is used and excess fat is removed, making it very healthy.
Ingredients are brought in by the customer, so it is safe for families with children who need to be accommodated for allergies.
All you need to do is bring pre-cut ingredients and you can easily enjoy the charm of Jigokumushi.
Please share with your family and friends the steam, aroma, and fun experiences that are unique to the rich hot spring resort of Beppu.
