Open-air bath with natural hot spring water
"Beautiful skin hot spring" Hita Mikumagawa Onsen
The pride of this inn is the open-air bath, which is fed directly from the source. Hita Mikumagawa Onsen is blessed with a rich natural environment surrounded by the Aso-Kuju and Hiko-san mountain ranges, and is characterized by the abundant water that springs from deep strata.
The hot spring at our inn is a natural spring of about 1500℃, obtained by digging about 70m underground at "Yunotaki" waterfall located near the main entrance. It is rich in "moisturizing ingredients" that are expected to have a skin-beautifying effect, and is characterized by the fact that your skin will remain moisturized even after you get out of the bath.
Furthermore, in order to maintain the quality of the hot spring water, a blessing from nature, we use "yumetake" bamboo to adjust the temperature to an appropriate level. We provide the hot spring water, which gushes out from deep underground, in a luxurious free-flowing style. Please enjoy this blessing from the earth to your heart's content.

One of the best parts of traveling is the food. At our inn, you can enjoy Japanese cuisine prepared by our experienced head chef, including Hita's specialty sweetfish. We offer kaiseki cuisine that is packed with local delicacies, using generous amounts of vegetables and river fish from the mountain villages, and meat and fresh fish from Oita.
The inn also boasts a buffet breakfast, which will brighten up your morning. The head chef uses lavish amounts of seasonal ingredients to create a selection of healthy dishes, including Oita Prefecture's local gourmet dish "Dagojiru," "Hot spring steamer" that brings out the flavor of the ingredients, and "Hot spring rice porridge" that can be enjoyed with a total of eight toppings. Enjoy your favorite dishes and start your day feeling refreshed.

The source of our inn's hot spring is excavated about 1500m underground at "Yunotaki" near the main entrance, and hot spring water of about 70 degrees Celsius gushes out. Because it is a hot spring that springs from the natural blessings of the earth, the spring quality is good and it is suitable for drinking.
