All of our guides, including a veteran guide with 28 years of experience, are certified by the Rafting Association of Japan (RAJ). An experienced senior guide always accompanies the tour, putting safety first and supporting our customers so they can enjoy themselves to the fullest.
Our guides undergo daily training and provide the best rafting experience with their attentiveness and accurate judgment. In addition, we work closely with land staff and cameramen to ensure that you can enjoy the tour with peace of mind.

Rafting is available for ages 6 and up, and snowshoeing is available for ages 4 and up, so the whole family can create memories together, including young children.

Ages 6 and up. Duration: Approximately 3 hours
Let's all work together to overcome the rapids! Minakami rafting can be enjoyed from April to November. You can have fun even in the rain.
The water level is high from spring to mid-June. Recommended for those who want to enjoy rowing. In the warmer seasons, you can also dive and play in boats.

Jump into the great outdoors! Half-day canyoning tour

Go on an adventure to a natural waterslide.
After some light trekking, you will be greeted by the great outdoors. This is a canyoning tour where you can splash under waterfalls, jump into the pools, and have fun in the streams. Come and enjoy canyoning in Minakami with us!
Minakami Snowshoe Half-Day Tour

Ages 4 and up - Duration: 3 hours
Snowshoeing is a tour where you walk through snowy forests wearing Western snowshoes.
Even if it's your first time on snow, you'll soon be able to walk anywhere. People of all ages, even small children, can participate!!
You can enjoy the beautiful snowy scenery, try the classic sledding, or go downhill and dive into the fluffy snow.

Beginners welcome! Elementary school students are welcome! Rafting can be enjoyed from April to November.

Depart with a guide! Your guide will fully support you to make the tour safe and enjoyable!
It is a sports activity where you work together with a guide to go down the river in a rubber boat. Grab a paddle and row as hard as you can to get over the rapids!
Even those who can't swim can participate. The New Zealand-made life jackets used have a buoyancy of 10kg, so even a person weighing 130kg can float. A thorough safety briefing will be given before entering the river.

Canyoning

After some light trekking, you'll be greeted by the great outdoors. This canyoning tour lets you splash around under waterfalls, jump into waterfall basins, and have fun in the streams.
This is an outdoor sport that is only available in the summer, where you can enjoy natural water slides and jumps using natural streams.

Even if you can't swim, it's okay!!
The life jackets we use are custom-made for canyoning! They have enough buoyancy to absorb the impact of rocks and protect your body! We also provide highly insulating wet jackets, and we will light a stove on cold days.
For every group of 8 guests, one or more guides will be on hand to provide detailed explanations of the route and how to play. Even beginners can enjoy the experience with peace of mind, as our highly trained guides will provide a thorough lecture.
Canoe
This is a unique outdoor nature tour where you can paddle around the lake and the source of the river after a simple lesson on how to paddle a canoe that is easy even for beginners. Why not try paddling freely around the lake surrounded by nature?
You might even encounter seasonally changing plants and animals! Children from 4th grade and above can participate, so why not give it a try with the whole family?
The canoes used are lightweight, stable, and float-type canoes, and the guide will provide thorough instruction, so even first-timers can feel at ease.
There is no shade on the lake. The sun is very strong in summer, so please bring a hat and sunglasses. It can be cold in spring and autumn, so please bring something to wear over your clothes, such as rainwear or fleece.
Since this tour takes place deep in the wilderness, we will anticipate sudden bad weather in the field and aim to run a tour that is not too demanding!
Our guides are trained by dedicated trainers to guide our guests in a fun and safe environment, and have passed our rigorous guide certification exam.

Snowshoes
Enjoy the beautiful snow scenery or enjoy the classic sledding activity.
You can even actively run downhill down the slope or dive into the fluffy snow!
Take the time to stop and take a good look at the dead trees, follow the animal footprints, and look for the many messages hidden in the pure white world.
Your guide will not just show you the way, but will also show you about the natural plants, animals, and more.
The guide's role is to guide the guests to courses with a low risk of avalanches and getting lost. Even if you encounter a sudden snowstorm and lose sight of your surroundings, a guide who is familiar with the course will guide you safely to the end.

"Empty-handed BBQ" with all equipment and ingredients included!
Enjoying a BBQ in an outdoor field at the foot of Mt. Tanigawa, next to the Yubiso River, is an exceptional experience.
We provide meat from the popular Minakami butcher shop "Ikufudo." The ingredients are also of a safe and reliable quality.

Tanigawadake Yoch by Hoshino Resorts
The ropeway allows easy access to Mt. Tanigawa, surrounded by magnificent nature, with a 15-minute aerial stroll. In addition to being able to see the entire Tanigawa mountain range, you can also enjoy the many alpine plants at the end of the line, Tenjindaira, which is also famous as a ski slope in winter. We also recommend taking the pair lift to Tenjin Pass, where you can enjoy a XNUMX-degree panoramic view.
Doi Station
The outbound platform is located in the underground Shin-Shimizu Tunnel, and is called "Japan's No. 70 Mole Station" because it is about 462 meters above sea level and requires descending a whopping 10 steps to reach the station building. The huge underground tunnel that takes about XNUMX minutes to climb is like going to another world. It's worth a visit even if you're not a train fan.
