Hakuba EX Adventure in Hakuba Village, Nagano is an outdoor facility with a campsite that opened in 2024. Surrounded by beautiful forests at an altitude of about 1,000m, it has auto camping sites and free sites, and can accommodate a wide range of uses, from a single tent to a camper van.
While enjoying camping, you can experience full-scale canyoning, rafting, and more! Enjoy a thrilling and exhilarating adventure with the scenery of the Himekawa River and the Northern Alps in the background. The attraction is that both adults and children can dive into nature with all their might.
Guests staying at the campsite will receive discounts on activities. The facility also has free showers and a shop, so even beginners can feel at ease. It is conveniently located within a 5-10 minute drive to day spas and shopping.

Hakuba Himekawa River Rafting
Rafting on the Himekawa River, a clear stream fed by meltwater from the majestic Northern Alps, is sure to be an amazing experience!
There are many ways to enjoy it, from leisurely floating down the river to jumping off the rocks. Not only small children, but even the elderly can enjoy it safely!
The biggest attraction is the exhilaration of being in the middle of nature and the sense of accomplishment when you reach your destination!
You will experience a sense of tension, unity and accomplishment as you overcome obstacles such as differences in current speed and flow, and rocky areas.
Canyoning
You can go down the river through a valley fed by meltwater from the Northern Alps using natural waterslides and zip lines!
Sometimes you can even dive into the pool at the bottom of the waterfall from a height of 8 meters!
You'll experience the exhilaration and sense of accomplishment that you can't get in your everyday life, and once you get hooked, you'll definitely want to come back!

Hakuba-mura
Hakuba Village has a history of over 100 years as one of Japan's leading international mountain resorts. In 27, Walter Weston, a British mountaineer who is said to be the father of modern mountaineering in Japan, reached the summit of Mt. Hakuba. Since then, it is said to have become a dream destination visited by many mountaineers. With the great influence of the mountaineering and skiing booms, many ski resorts were established in the Hakuba mountain range.
In addition to these ski resorts, Hakuba Village is dotted with other must-see spots, such as the Hakuba Ski Jump Stadium, which was built during the Nagano Olympics, and hot springs such as Hakuba Happo Onsen.
Bafang Pond
Happoike Pond is a mysterious pond that reflects the Hakuba Federation on its surface. Located at an altitude of approximately 2,060m, this pond offers a colorful view of autumn leaves in the fall and white snow in early summer.
Use the gondola lift on the Happo Alpine Line to ascend to about 1,830m in one go. From there, walk the remaining 230m on a 1.5-2km trekking trail to reach Happoike. Most of the trail is well-maintained, so it is safe for children and beginners. There are two main trails: a detour route on the left and a direct route on the right.
If you are confident in your physical strength, we recommend trying the direct route.
