Using fresh vegetables from local farmers and familiar ingredients,
We strive to serve seasonal dishes that are unique to Shinshu.

At Country Inn Camp, we use familiar ingredients, mainly fresh vegetables grown by local farmers in Omachi, and strive to prepare dishes unique to Shinshu and dishes that emphasize the seasonal ingredients.
The menu also includes sashimi of freshly caught trout and princess trout raised in Lake Aoki and Hakuba.
Spring is full of bounty from the mountains, starting with butterbur sprouts, tarana buds, bracken, and nemagaritake mushrooms, and autumn is full of local mushrooms. Dinner is a course that includes soup, salad, fish dish, meat dish, and dessert.
We have a friendly atmosphere and guests can casually eat with chopsticks. The bread served at breakfast is freshly baked using natural yeast.

Be soothed by objects made from natural materials and enjoy a moment of creativity.

At Country Inn Camp, we create a variety of handmade items while feeling close to nature. Many of the miscellaneous items and accessories we have made while having fun are on display in the facility, and we aim to create items that will leave a lasting impression on everyone. On certain days, we also hold handmade experience classes.
The experience of touching the trees and soil of the mountains, such as wooden spoons and bowls like those made by Heidi's grandfather, wooden people, clay ocarinas, kaleidoscopes of flowers, and driftwood objects, will remind you of the fun times you had making things with fascination that you have almost forgotten as you have grown up. You may even be able to reconnect with your childhood self.
This is a great opportunity to enrich your mind through contact with nature. The experience classes are held during the lodging's off-season, but we encourage you to come and experience the joy of creating something with your own hands.

Appearance/Facilities

The altitude is 930m. It is higher than Mt. Takao, Mt. Ikoma, and Mt. Rokko. It is very comfortable even in the summer mornings and evenings without air conditioning.

It's a pleasant experience to have breakfast on the veranda in the morning. Enjoy the soft sunlight, the fresh breeze, freshly baked bread made with natural yeast, and delicious coffee.

A window where you can always feel the change of seasons is connected to spiritual richness. I want it to be a place where you can sit for as long as you like and never get bored.

The display is lively with wooden robots (wooden people), ocarinas, kaleidoscopes and various other accessories, and cut flowers add colour to the display.

Country Inn Camp is located at an altitude of 930m. Even in summer, it gets chilly in the evenings, so we often light a fire in the fireplace.

The exterior looks like a log house, but the walls on the inside are thicker, making it cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

In the open-ceiling living room with fireplace, you can enjoy the sound of the fire crackling and the scent of wood while watching the warm fire.

The interior is country-style but with a camping feel. The floors, wainscoting and other materials are made of wood as much as possible, and the walls are painted.

The garden, which was designed to resemble a field, has a slightly different feel from an English garden.

The most beautiful season is from spring to summer. In the garden, flowers bloom one after another, and the budding greenery sways in the breeze, running up the mountain slope from the village like a gradation.

From the balcony, you can see the sharp peak of Mount Kashima-Yari in the Northern Alps. Count the shooting stars and stars in the night sky.

Workshops

We hollow out chestnut and cherry wood to make spoons and plates.

We will make wooden people (robots) and dolls using driftwood, cornflowers, and cherry tree branches.
