"SORA terrace cafe" "Spirits Grill"
"SORA terrace cafe" is located at the top of the mountain, at the end of the ropeway, where you can enjoy your meal while taking in the spectacular view.
The most popular menu item throughout the year is the "Omurice above the Clouds". The soft and runny eggs and demi-glace sauce go perfectly together! The "Sea of Clouds Pie Soup" is also very popular and is recommended in the winter!
"Spirits Grill" is located inside the center house "THE BASE" which opened at the end of 2022! It is a cafe where you can enjoy muffins and coffee in the morning.
The popular lunch menu item is the "Shinshu Gibier Burger," which uses game meat from Shinshu. Game meat is famous for being high in protein and low in calories, so it is popular among health-conscious women.

Our facility is proud of one of the world's largest ropeways, which can carry many passengers at once and provide a comfortable flight. Once you reach an altitude of 1,770m, a panoramic view awaits you.
In winter, there are fewer seas of clouds, so you can see mainly snowy landscapes, frost-covered trees, the scenery of Nagano Prefecture, and even the Northern Alps. If you're lucky, you might even be able to see as far as the Sea of Japan.
After taking the ropeway to the top, enjoy the spectacular views at "SORA terrace" or "SORA terrace cafe" and spend a special time at our facility this winter.

The summit area, located at an altitude of 1930m, is covered in smooth powder snow.

SORA terrace
This is the ski park's number one photo spot.
The chances of seeing a sea of clouds are lower than in summer, but if you manage to see this spectacular winter scenery, you'll be extremely lucky! It's a fantastical experience that makes you feel like you're in another world.
You can see the Northern Alps and sometimes even the Sea of Japan.

This drink comes with a set of SORA terrace's original blend of hot coffee and cloud-shaped marshmallows called "Sea of Clouds Marshmallows." Just before drinking, float the marshmallows in the coffee and they melt, making it look like a sea of clouds seen from the terrace, allowing you to enjoy your own personal sea of clouds.

Cable car
Take a walk in the sky while looking at the snow-capacity mountains. Board the world's largest 166-seater ropeway and enjoy the magnificent views below as you travel for 980 minutes from the base station at an altitude of 1770m to the summit station at 10m.

The "Snow Buggy Cruise" takes about 10 minutes from the Information Center to the ropeway base station.
Enjoy this extraordinary experience, including the sight of a vehicle pushing through the snow, something you don't usually get the chance to do, and the winter scenery of frozen trees.
