Have a special time at "Tsumugidokoro Tanagokoro"
"Tsumugidokoro Tanagokoro" is one of the few restaurants in Oku-Hida, and is a warm and welcoming space where locals, tourists, and those who just want to enjoy a meal can gather. In addition, live events are held in the restaurant, which are rare in the Oku-Hida Onsen area, so you can enjoy the unique flavors of Oku-Hida along with music.
Guests staying at the attached accommodation facility "Tomarudake Nozawa" will be served a dinner featuring "steamed Hida pork" made with a secret special sauce that has been loved by locals, and a Japanese breakfast of grilled hoba miso to enjoy the local flavor. In the dining area reserved for guests, you can enjoy a leisurely meal with local flavors.
Tanagokoro is also open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and is popular as a place to enjoy freshly cooked food and local sake. The food, which uses plenty of seasonal ingredients, goes perfectly with the local sake, adding color to your sightseeing and daily life. Please enjoy a special time while experiencing the charm of Oku-Hida.

A luxurious moment of relaxation in natural hot springs and private open-air baths
Our baths are divided into outdoor and indoor baths for men and women, allowing you to fully enjoy the natural hot springs. The water is smooth and gentle on the skin, and is appealing for its comfort as it warms the body from the inside out. All baths are located on the second floor where the guest rooms are, making them easy to move around and safe for families with small children and the elderly.
We especially recommend the open-air bath, which can be enjoyed privately. This open-air bath was carved out of a huge rock and is a proud creation of the owner of the inn. The unique feel of the rock surface is pleasant to the touch, and the bath is just the right size for two people, creating a relaxing time. We also recommend using it as a bath while lying down, as it has an excellent refreshing effect. (Closed in winter)
Enjoy a relaxing bath and spend a special moment soothing your body and mind.

Shinhotaka Ropeway
Japan's first double-decker gondola, measuring 3200 meters in length, will take you to a world above the clouds at an altitude of 2156 meters.
From the observation deck, you can get a panoramic view of the Northern Alps mountains, including Nishihotakadake, Yarigatake, and Kasagatake. On the walking course, you can see the pretty flowers of wildflowers and alpine plants. In autumn, the fresh snow on the Northern Alps and the autumn leaves shine against the deep blue autumn sky, and in winter a huge snow corridor appears.

Mount Norikura (Norikura Skyline)
Designated as a special protected area of the national park, it is a treasure trove of precious flora and fauna, including the special natural monument, the rock ptarmigan, and alpine plants.
It consists of 23 peaks, including Mt. Kengamine, 7 lakes, and 8 plains, and offers views of the world above the clouds, including Mt. Yari and the Hotaka mountain range. At the end of the Norikura Skyline, there is a flower field of about 4 hectares, where you can see colorful alpine plants in the summer.

Hida Takayama
Known as "Little Kyoto of Hida," Takayama flourished as a castle town and merchant town, and still retains the appearance from the Edo to Meiji periods. Takayama Jinya, the only magistrate's office in Japan that still exists from the Edo period, as well as the storehouse tenement house, the county magistrate's residence, and the inner palace have all been faithfully reproduced as they were at the time. There is also a lot to see and do, including local delicacies such as Hida beef and Takayama ramen.
