Ikoi-no-Mura Iwate is located on the middle slope of Mt. Mitsumoriyama, and the observation deck on the top floor offers a 360-degree panoramic view.
The view from the observation deck is truly spectacular, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of every season. To the north is the majestic Mt. Nanashigure, to the south is the mystical Mt. Hayachine, and right in front of you is Mt. Iwate, the highest peak in Iwate Prefecture.
This spectacular view offers a special experience that allows you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and feel as if you are embraced by nature. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery that harmonizes with the vast land and mountains, and you will be overwhelmed by its grandeur no matter what season you visit.

Our chef will carefully select the most delicious ingredients for the season and serve them to our guests in the most suitable dishes.
We use mainly local Iwate ingredients, especially from Hachimantai City, and our cuisine incorporates an abundance of fresh local vegetables and seafood grown with meltwater from the famous Mt. Iwate. We will prepare dishes that allow you to experience the flavors of each season with care.
We also serve lunch every day, from 11:30 to 13:30 (last order). As a special bonus, customers who order lunch will receive half-price admission to the baths. Please enjoy both the meal and the hot springs.

Ikoi Village Iwate's pride and joy, Yamayakihashiri Onsen, is known as the "Beauty Bath" and "Beautiful Skin Bath" for good reason. This hot spring is an alkaline simple spring that gently washes away dead skin cells and keeps your skin clean. The lukewarm water also prevents collagen from hardening, firmly protecting the softness and moisture of your skin. This "beautiful skin bath" is colorless, transparent, and gentle on the skin, so anyone can enjoy it with peace of mind.
There is also a sauna at about 90℃, where you can expect to revitalize your body's functions through sweating. This not only has a detoxifying effect that flushes out waste products and sediment from within the body, but also promotes metabolism and is effective in improving chills and swelling.

This is a 12.5 tatami Japanese-style room. Depending on the room, you can see either Mt. Nanashigure or Mt. Himekami from the window, and you can enjoy the beautiful natural scenery while relaxing in the spacious 12.5 tatami space.

Shimokura Ski Resort is recommended for intermediate and advanced skiers and those who want to enjoy fresh snow, with excellent snow quality and a variety of slopes.

Cherry blossom trees at Tenshochi in Kitakami
The Kitakami Tenshochi Sakura Festival, held from April 4th to April 4th, is crowded with many cherry blossom viewers from all over Japan. During the festival, colorful carp streamers fly over the Kitakami River, and nostalgic horse-drawn carriages run along the rows of cherry blossom trees in full bloom.
At night, the beautifully lit up cherry blossom trees are reflected on the surface of the river.
