Kenrokuen Garden

Kenrokuen Garden

Kenrokuen is a vast stroll-style garden built over many years by the successive feudal lords of the Kaga domain. Many tourists from Japan and abroad visit the garden to enjoy the magnificent seasonal scenery that combines history and nature, such as cherry blossoms in the spring, greenery in the summer, autumn leaves in the fall, and snow hangings in the winter.
It is located next to Kanazawa Castle, so if you visit both the castle and Kenrokuen, you can get a feel for the history of the Kaga Domain's one million koku domain.

Kanazawa Station Drum Gate

Kanazawa Station Drum Gate

The Hospitality Dome is located at the Kenrokuen Exit of Kanazawa Station. Kanazawa experiences a lot of rain and snow, so it was created with the concept of "a spirit of hospitality, offering an umbrella to those who get off the station." The geometrically patterned glass ceiling gently welcomes visitors to Kanazawa. A popular photo spot is the majestic Tsuzumimon Gate, which is modeled after the drums used in Noh, Kanazawa's traditional performing art. Standing 13.7m tall and supported by two thick pillars, the gate is a spectacular sight.
Many tourists who visit Kanazawa first take a commemorative photo here. Kanazawa Station has been selected as one of the 14 most beautiful train stations in the world.

Higashi Chaya District

Higashi Chaya District

Higashi Chaya District is a district that strongly reflects the atmosphere of Kanazawa. Traditional teahouse buildings line the streets, and their elegant appearance makes them perfect for photos. It is a popular tourist spot where you can experience the history and culture unique to Kanazawa just by walking around.
The charm of Higashi Chaya District is not just the beautiful streetscape. You can spend an elegant time savoring matcha green tea and high-quality Japanese sweets at a townhouse cafe, or look for special souvenirs such as gorgeous gold leaf products and delicate crafts made by local artists. Higashi Chaya District is a fascinating place that satisfies the five senses of visitors, offering experiences in contact with traditional culture, gourmet food, and shopping amid beautiful scenery.
