The hot spring water flows freely from the source 24 hours a day, so you can enjoy a luxurious bath at any time.
In our spacious open-air rock bath, which we are proud of, you can enjoy red water (therapeutic hot spring) with bubbles of carbon dioxide. This red water is usually transparent, but when it comes into contact with carbon dioxide in the air, it oxidizes and turns reddish brown. This red water, which is also said to be effective as a hot spring therapy, has excellent effects on promoting blood circulation and relaxation.
All of our baths are natural springs, allowing you to fully experience the power of 100% natural hot spring water in a luxurious bathing experience. Please come and relax.

Historical road "Ushu Kaido walking course"
★ Accommodation and walking course (usually held from June to October)
This is a special course where you can stroll along the historical road "Ushu Kaido" accompanied by a local guide. Ushu Kaido Yatate Pass flourished as a key transportation point from the Edo period to the Meiji period, and was walked by successive feudal lords of the Tsugaru domain, as well as Ino Tadataka, Yoshida Shoin, and Isabella Bird. It is also a historic road that Emperor Meiji took during his tour of the Tohoku region. This course allows you to feel the breath of nature, and is a relaxing time surrounded by pleasant air and beautiful scenery.
After your walk, refresh yourself and heal your body and mind in our natural hot springs and the red waters that bubble with carbon dioxide! Then, enjoy the food made with plenty of fresh local ingredients, which is sure to satisfy both your heart and your stomach. We hope you enjoy this special experience.

Moribien
This garden is representative of the Oishi Bugaku style of landscaping, which can be found in large numbers in the Tsugaru region.
It is designated as a national scenic spot. Seibi Kiyoto, a large landowner in the Meiji period who was a descendant of a vassal of the Hojo clan, invited the master Obatai to create the garden, which took nine years to complete. There are 9 trees of 80 different kinds planted. The garden covers an area of 1300 m3600.

Saruka Park
This shrine is said to have been built by Sakanoue no Tamuramaro as a "divine snake shrine" in order to conquer the Emishi, and the main hall is designated as a prefectural treasure.
Since the feudal era, he has been revered as the guardian deity of agriculture, fishing, transportation, and eyesight.
In spring, the cherry blossoms are beautiful, in summer the Japanese lotus flowers cover Kagami-ga-ike pond, in autumn the trees change color, and in winter you can enjoy the snowy scenery.

"Ushu Road Inn Ainori" is a single inn located in Sojo Onsen, close to the prefectural border with Akita, and boasts an abundant supply of hot spring water that flows directly from the source.
In the spacious public bath, you can enjoy the hot springs surrounded by nature deep in the mountains. The hot springs, known as "akayu" (red water), are a specialty of this place and turn a reddish-brown color when they come into contact with carbon dioxide in the air, making them popular with locals.
There are only 10 guest rooms, but they are all luxuriously designed, including rooms with open-air baths made from natural solid hiba wood from Aomori Prefecture. The annex, Kangetsu-tei, made from natural cedar and Aomori hiba, is popular for its Towada stone indoor bath and large open-air bath, offering a sense of privacy.
