Nikko National Park. Okukinu Onsenkyo Hatcho no Yu is a mountain resort located at an altitude of 1400 meters.
The hot spring source we are proud of is 100% natural spring water. In early spring, you can take a bath in the open-air bath while watching the waterfall gushing down.
Hatcho-no-Yu is a secret hot spring blessed with blessings where you can enjoy the natural hot water power of a hot spring.
The old-fashioned mixed bath, for which no new or refurbished baths are permitted under current laws, is a forgotten memento of the history unique to Hatcho-no-Yu, which has been loved over the years. We will continue to convey the charm of this secret hot spring to everyone as a bath where you can enjoy the exclusive view of a natural waterfall and the hot spring culture of a laid-back era.

Haccho's dining style varies depending on the room you stay in, but all of our dishes use mountain spring water.

In an area of about 200 tsubo, we grow about 20 types of crops a year, including cucumbers, eggplants, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, carrots, cabbage, burdock, taro, sweet potatoes, Chinese cabbage, and sunny lettuce.

Yukimi no Yu (mixed bathing)
This is an open-air bath that has been around since it opened in 4. During the winter, hot water is drawn here in preference to Takimi-no-Yu, which is located at the bottom of the stairs. If you are visiting in the winter, please relax and warm up here before enjoying your stay.
Takimi no Yu (mixed bathing)
A hot spring bath with a spectacular view of the waterfall that flows down the rock surface. Enjoy the dynamic scenery while looking at the waterfall in front of you. Autumn bathing while admiring the waterfall and autumn leaves is also very atmospheric.
Ishikusu Hana no Yu (mixed bathing)
An open-air bath with a luxurious view located right next to the waterfall. Enjoying the waterfall from a higher perspective gives it a different kind of impact. This bathtub was created by a stone craftsman with great care around 40.

Waterfall open-air bath for women only
There is also an open-air bath with a view of the waterfall between the trees, exclusively for women.
Indoor bath for women only
This bathtub was built around 47, when the opening of forest roads made it possible to transport materials using four-wheel drive vehicles. The design lets in the scenery and light, giving you the brightness and openness of an open-air bath, even though it's an indoor bath.
Indoor bath for men only
This is the oldest bathtub in our hotel. The bathtub, which has been renovated and continues to be used while retaining the appearance of the mountain hut era, is a storyteller of the history of our hotel, along with the Yukimi-no-Yu. This indoor bath is popular among regular customers.

"Kuchofukutei" is a restaurant exclusively for guests staying at "Villa Lodge Hatcho." The tatami-floored venue where about 100 people had their dinners at the time of the restaurant's founding has now become a spacious main dining room with a modern atmosphere.

Snow hiking around the mysterious icefall of Okukinu
Okukinu Onsenkyo is surrounded by silvery white scenery from early December to early spring. Of course there is snow, but one of the attractions is that you can see a huge icefall within an hour's hike. Our climbing guides will guide you through small natural discoveries that you might otherwise miss, animal footprints, and natural commentary on snow and trees.

Enjoy the snow, mulled wine, and starry sky as a memory of Hatcho no Yu. The winter night sky is clear and the twinkling stars are especially beautiful. Seto Gorge
Setoai Gorge, located upstream of the Kinugawa River, is a gorge created by eroding tuff, and has steep cliffs that are 100m deep and spread out for about 2km.
The view from Watarasshai Suspension Bridge, a suspension bridge built on the quay in front of Kawamata Dam in the gorge, is spectacular, and you can feel up close to the cliffs.
It is also known as a famous spot for autumn leaves and has been selected as one of Tochigi's top 100 scenic spots.

Nikko Kirifuri Highlands Ozasa Farm
Located at an altitude of 1030 to 1320 meters within Nikko National Park, this is an idyllic grazing farm with a panoramic view of the Kanto Plain and a rich natural environment.
The farm, which boasts an area of 362 hectares and is one of the largest in Japan, has petting facilities where you can play with animals, athletics that the whole family can enjoy, a restaurant where you can eat the famous Genghis Khan, and other facilities such as ice cream and butter. You can experience making it.
There is an auto campsite on the premises, so even those who are not used to the outdoors can enjoy camping. In the winter, we also recommend the impressive snowmobile experience.

Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura
This is a cultural park where you can experience the culture of the Edo period firsthand.
The vast site has recreated the real-life townscape, including roads, post stations, merchant quarters, ninja villages, and samurai residences. Through interactions with Edo people and hands-on events, you can not only experience the life of Edo, but also change your clothes and become an Edo person.
