In spring, weeping cherry blossom trees welcome you.
Kendo classes are held at Shinkoen every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evening from 18:30 p.m. Kendo classes provide an opportunity to have fun learning Kendo, a Japanese martial art, and to put practical skills into practice.
Guests staying at the hotel can tour the Kendo classroom for free. This is a rare opportunity to see Kendo practice up close.
Kendo is a powerful martial art, and watching actual matches and practice is a chance to experience its power and beauty. Please enjoy it.
In spring, weeping cherry blossom trees greet you on the 100 meter long road leading to the entrance. Several types of cherry blossom trees line the grounds, and in the spring, the property is surrounded by a refreshing cherry blossom-colored landscape.
The vast Shinkoen garden that stretches out to the front and back is filled with a wide variety of flowers that the couple tend to, and if the weather is nice, it's nice to take a short stroll.
During the cherry blossom season, we hold monthly events featuring food trucks, including the Cherry Blossom Festival. Please come and check it out!

Nikko Toshogu Shrine
A shrine where Tokugawa Ieyasu is enshrined. Of the shrines and temples in Nikko, Japan's representative world heritage site, most of the current shrine buildings were rebuilt in 1636 (Kanei 13) during the Kan'ei Grand Reconstruction by the third shogun, Iemitsu.
The shrine grounds are lined with 34 buildings, including 55 national treasures and XNUMX important cultural properties, and their gorgeous beauty is overwhelming. The building is decorated with lacquer and richly colored by master craftsmen gathered from all over the country, and the pillars are decorated with numerous carvings.

Kegon Falls
The Nikko area is home to so many waterfalls that it is known as the ``48 waterfalls,'' and the most famous one is ``Kegon Falls.''

Kinugawa Onsen
Discovered during the Edo period, this hot spring has a long history, and at that time only monks and feudal lords on pilgrimages to Nikko were allowed to bathe there.
After it was opened to the public after the Meiji period, it developed into one of the largest hot spring resorts in the Kanto region, with inns and hotels lined up along the Kinugawa Valley.
