The appearance of a sukiya shop where you can feel the warmth of wood
When you pass through the curtain, you will find yourself in an amber-colored space.
There is a hearth in the lobby, and the calm "Japanese" space created by wood will soothe your soul.
We provide an extraordinary space that you cannot experience in everyday life, and strive to provide services that will make you feel truly relaxed and satisfied.
I hope that I can help you experience some of the excitement and encounters and interactions with people during your travels, just a little bit. We look forward to your visit.

How about a retro walk around town?
During the Edo period, Mameda Town prospered as a directly appointed territory of the parliament and had a vibrant merchant culture. This area has a historical background and its retro atmosphere can still be felt today. As you walk around the town, you will find a shopping street with a Japanese feel, lined with many restaurants and small shops.
At the shopping street of Mameda, you can enjoy traditional culture while enjoying the old-fashioned atmosphere. Local eateries offer delicious local and Japanese cuisine while soaking up the city's atmosphere. Enjoy a tasteful walk through this area where history and culture blend together.

"King of Suction" Radium Hot Springs
The hot springs at Tabi no Yado Satsuki are high-quality radium hot springs. Our inn has a Shigaraki-yaki amber-colored ceramic bath and a red stone bath. Both hot springs can be used as private baths.
The mineral content stimulates the skin and promotes sweating, and waste products such as cholesterol, lactic acid, and toxins in the blood are excreted with sweat, improving blood circulation, activating metabolism, and increasing natural healing power. Keep your body clean and healthy from inside and outside with the power of ions and minerals.
It is a rich hot spring that will soothe your mind and body. Please enjoy the natural ingredients and warm hot water.
You can soak alone or enjoy a relaxing time with your family. You can take a bath 24 hours a day.

Cormorant fishing and houseboats in Hita
The skillful techniques of cormorant fishermen have been passed down for 400 years.
The view from the boat is indescribably atmospheric, and the lights of the houseboats seen from the riverbank are magical.
Also, the taste of sweetfish enjoyed on the boat is exceptional.

Retro walking around Mameda
During the Edo period, Mameda Town was under the direct control of the Shogunate and had a prosperous merchant culture. The nostalgic streetscape with white walls and tiled roofs still remains, and the mansions of wealthy merchants such as the Hirose family and the Kusano family are reminiscent of the prosperity of the past.
In addition, if you leave the bustle of Mameda Town and go to the banks of the Kagetsu River, you will forget about your daily life and have a relaxing time listening to the sound of the river and the water birds playing.
Rickshaws are also running!

Hita retains the vestiges of a land under direct control, such as storehouses, sea cucumber walls, and lattice windows. You can enjoy the four seasons: Doll's Festival and Botanical Cherry Blossoms in spring, cormorant fishing and houseboats in summer, and Hita Tenryo Festival in autumn.
We are located a 5-minute walk from JR Hita Station, making it convenient for strolling around this quaint town.
