During the winter season, guests can enter Pension Pure from 8 a.m. to store their luggage or receive discounted lift tickets. The slopes are 700m away and all guests will be transported by Pure car.

The first half of the Shin-Etsu Trail trekking (sections 1 to 5) can be started in May (sections 4 to 10) from late June. It has been extended to a total length of 6 km to the summit of Mt. Naeba. (See Shinetsu Trail Club HP)
It is crowded in May and June when the fresh greenery and wildflowers bloom, and during the autumn leaves season in October. There are fewer people in July, August, and September, so you can take your time trekking.
The owner is a tourist association-certified guide and a registered guide on the Shin-Etsu Trail, so he has traveled the 80km Shin-Etsu Trail and the highlands many times, and can give advice on where to easily go wrong, seasonal flowers, etc. There is also a guided plan where you can walk slowly through sections 1 to 6 in 10 sessions. A Western course meal with everything from appetizers to desserts made by hand. In addition to knives and forks, we also provide chopsticks.

Jigokudani Monkey Park
Jigokudani Monkey Park, famous for seeing Japanese macaques bathing in hot springs, is located in Yamanouchi Town, near Shiga Kogen.
