Bessho Onsen is Shinshu's oldest hot spring resort, with a history stretching back over 1400 years. The spring quality is slightly alkaline (pH 8-9), gentle on the skin, and safe for babies to use.
In particular, the spectacular view from the observation bath on the 7th floor will open your mind and soothe your daily fatigue. The public bath is located on the top floor, and you can enjoy a panoramic view of the mountains and Shiodadaira during the day, and the twinkling starry sky and night view at night.
After taking a bath, there is a drink corner on the 7th floor where you can enjoy mineral water and various teas to rejuvenate yourself. Please come and have a relaxing time.

We value the philosophy of local production for local consumption, and are proud of the carefully selected dishes prepared with ingredients from Shinshu by our head chef. The head chef himself carefully selects locally sourced ingredients, including fresh and juicy highland vegetables, mushrooms and wild vegetables grown in the mountains of Shinshu, Shinshu salmon, and Shinshu wagyu beef.

Yaehara, Tomi City, Nagano Prefecture is famous for rice cultivation. As a contract farmer for Nakamatsuya, we grow Koshihikari with reduced pesticides and are particular about its delicious taste.

It is said that if you visit this shrine along with Zenkoji Temple, you will receive even more blessings. It is crowded with many good men and women during the Second Year and Setsubun festivals. In the precincts, there is a large tree named ``Aizen Katsura'' and many monuments with poems.
Bessho hot spring town
The hot spring town of Bessho is full of famous places that you can go to for a walk. It has become a fun walking path, with new walking courses, wooden benches, and a mini park that have been newly developed in recent years.
If you feel a little tired, there are coffee shops, footbaths (free of charge), and 200 outdoor baths for 3 yen, so you can take a break while sightseeing.
