This hot spring was discovered about 300 years ago, and has been loved by many writers and artists and Shugendo followers since the days when Mount Yoshino flourished as a famous spot for cherry blossoms and historical sites, and as a training ground for the Omine Mountain Shugendo sect. Through word of mouth, the hot spring became known as "Yoshino no Yu" and is now known nationwide.
The rare "cold carbon dioxide mineral spring" that we are proud of is effective in promoting blood circulation and relieving fatigue, refreshing the body and mind. The men's bath has large windows on one side, allowing you to enjoy a bath filled with a sense of freedom while looking out at the pond and Japanese garden. The women's bath has reddish water that is effective against rheumatism, anemia, and gynecological diseases, and you can spend a relaxing time looking out at the beautiful garden with its many trees.

Nyorinji Temple
Nyorin-ji Temple, which is said to have been founded during the Engi era (901-923), enshrines the principal image of its temple, the Nyoirin Kannon, to which Emperor Godaigo is said to have had devout faith.
There are many other treasures, including a door on which Masayuki Kusunoki left his death poem before setting off to battle, and nearby is the tomb of Emperor Godaigo, an archaeological site linked to the Taiheiki.

Yoshimizu Shrine
It was the residence of Emperor Godaigo, and also the hideout where Minamoto no Yoshitsune hid with Benkei and others. There are also historical anecdotes about Toyotomi Hideyoshi using it as his headquarters for cherry blossom viewing, and there is a scenic spot that is said to have particularly impressed Hideyoshi. It is also a famous spot from which you can see the cherry blossoms of Mount Yoshino, so beautiful that it has been said that you can see a thousand trees at a glance. As the oldest shoin-style building in Japan, it has been designated an Important Cultural Property. Numerous treasures can be viewed.

Kinpusenji Temple Zao Hall
It is designated as a national treasure. It is the head temple of Shugendo and is a symbol of Mount Yoshino along with the spring cherry blossoms. The secret principal image is a giant statue of Zao Gongen, with three statues standing 7 meters tall, and is open to the public once a year. Various events are held throughout the year, including the spring cherry blossoms, summer lanterns, and winter will-o'-the-wisp.
It is about a 20-minute walk up the mountain path in front of the hotel entrance.
