The open-air bath has an impressive octagonal roof, and at night the lights illuminating the garden create a fantastical atmosphere.

The indoor bath allows you to feel the warmth of wood as you bathe while looking up at the magnificent ceiling finished with southern red pine.
Oiwa no Yu outdoor bath
This open-air bath is surrounded by large rocks. The floor slopes and gets deeper the further back you go, up to 90cm deep. Stones are embedded in the floor on the left side of the bath, stimulating the acupressure points on the feet, making it good for your health. There are chairs of different heights on the right half, so parents and children can bathe side by side.

The indoor bath has a chic and calming stone look, and the ceiling is made of skilled woodwork, just like the Akamatsu no Yu.
