Terasaka Rice Terraces
Terasaka Rice Terraces is the largest rice terrace in Saitama Prefecture, consisting of 52,000 terraces of various sizes with a total area of approximately 350㎡. The terraces are said to have been built during the Jomon period, and have many functions, such as storing a lot of water and creating beautiful scenery. In order to protect the terraces, local farmers opened the Terasaka Rice Terrace School in 13, where people can experience rice cultivation.
Currently, over 60 people from Saitama, Tokyo, Chiba, Kanagawa and other areas are participating. From plowing in April to planting, weeding, harvesting, and the harvest festival in November, 4 agricultural tasks are carried out, and the harvested ancient rice is distributed to the participants. In the summer, a one-night-only event called "Lights of the Rice Terraces" is held! 11 lights, fireflies, the starry sky, and music create a fantastic space. This event, which shows a different side to the daytime, is definitely worth seeing! In September, the whole area is covered in bright red spider lilies. A spider lily festival is also held!

Komatsuzawa Leisure Farm
In addition to picking grapes and shiitake mushrooms, you can also enjoy catching and fishing for trout, and taking part in a mini hiking course (one lap takes 30 minutes).
You can interact with goats and feed carp and ducks. If you get hungry, you can enjoy a lava barbecue or hand-made udon and soba noodles. It's a farm where you can spend the whole day. Strawberry picking in the spring and insect collecting in the summer are also very popular.

Hanasakiyama
A small hill (approximately 3.9 hectares) located beyond the parking lot of Yokoze Town Community Ground was developed with the help of volunteers to turn it into a "beautiful, flowering mountain where people can gather" and a place of relaxation for local residents. Over 6,000 flowering trees were planted so that they can be enjoyed throughout the seasons.
Additionally, as part of a joint government-academia project in collaboration with Musashino Art University, three artworks that combine art have been installed to make the space even more appealing.
